Hi Mark, really liking these, esp first and last shots. Reminds me a bit of ttv. Any chance of more info on the work and why you can only shoot in the summer?

How you doin Gill? Uhm not much to tell really so far I'm in the early stages of an idea with them and working with them as the idea is taking shape rather than the way I normally do things which is have an idea first and then go out and make the photo's. I'm as painters call it 'mark making' trying to be a little less precious. Shooting summer is purely because I like the light I was getting shooting this way in sunshine. It's not what people normally think of when they think of Salford.. PS what's ttv?

I'm good thanks, cheers for taking the time to answer. Sounds good, I agree it's worth changing your method of working sometimes, when the right project comes along. Keep going, these look ace.

ttv - this craze of through the viewfinder technique. As with all vogueish trickery there are good and bad examples. Technique ain't everything, but it can work beautifully.
