Image copyright Robert VoitSecond lot of spooky trees of the day this time from Robert Voit. His 'NEW TREES' series are more "why are we humans so ridiculous" spooky. These pretend trees are about as convincing as me at a drama group pretending to be a tree.

I just saw this show before it closed at Amador Gallery on 57th Street in NYC. The show was absolutely amazing. After a while looking at the photos in person, as unnatural as the "trees" look, I started accepting them as trees, albeit new trees (as in the title). I loved how every cell phone tree was exactly dead center in the frame, even more so when some real trees were in the frame. I'd have to say my favorite was the cactus.
Not sure where the show is going next, but I highly recommend seeing it.
If it tours Salford I'll be there!
